Anti-scam system

How BahayCheck keeps listings safe

Property scams in the Philippines usually follow the same script: a too-good price, pressure to send a reservation fee, and a seller who won't meet in person. BahayCheck is built to stop exactly that.

  1. 1. Basic identity

Sellers give their full name, a Philippine mobile number and a confirmed email. No documents are needed to post.

  2. 2. Ownership claim

Sellers state whether they are the owner or an authorized agent. Buyers see this claim on every listing as a badge.

  3. 3. Review only when needed

Normal listings go live right away. Listings with prices that look too low, copies of other listings, or upfront-payment wording wait for our team to check them by hand.
